Artemisia Shot: Artemisia as granules in a practical stick
The Artemisia plant is an annual plant that grows into a man-high bush in summer and also thrives well in our temperate climate. In total there are more than 300 Artemisia species. The subspecies described here has been known in Chinese medicine for 2000 years.
Attention: Unfortunately not available in Switzerland
Unfortunately, the Artemisia Shot is not available in Switzerland. Also note our absolutely identical product Artemisia Shot (PET) for animals.
What ingredients does Artemisia contain?
The Artemisia plant is very well researched. To date, over 240 different phytochemicals have been isolated and detected in their leaf tips, including various polyphenols and artemisinin.
Organic Artemisia annua from Switzerland
Our Artemisia plants are Artemisia annua, which comes from organic farming. The plants are grown in Switzerland, harvested and processed by hand. We only use the dried leaf tips, which contributes to a high quality. The Artemisia is a special breed and contains more than 1% Artemisinin! It is therefore more effective than common Artemisia annua.
How does Artemisia annua work?
Artemisia contains a chemically stable peroxide called artemisinin. At high concentrations of iron ions (which are found in certain cells, for example), this peroxide becomes unstable and breaks down into two aggressive components that quickly kill unwanted cells or germs (eg, bacteria, plasmodia, etc.) in the vicinity.
Benefits of Artemisia Shot
- Very easy dosing and taking (granules)
- Slightly sweetened coating for easier swallowing (no bitter taste)
- Practical sticks, eg for on the go
- Contains Artemisia from organic production
- We only use the dried leaf tips and no stalks, woody parts etc.
- Special breeding with a high content of physiologically interesting plant substances
