Beta-glucan is a complex sugar, also known as a polysaccharide. It is found in many grains, but its composition varies.
The beta-glucan contained in our capsules is derived from yeast and consists of at least 80 percent 1,3-1,6-ß-D-glucan. This specific form is insoluble and therefore indigestible.
The yeast used to produce our beta-glucan is obtained in accordance with the German Purity Law. However, the final product does not contain yeast.
