What ingredients does Artemisia contain?

The Artemisia plant is very well researched. To date, there are over 240 different ones in their leaf tips secondary plant substances been isolated and detected, including numerous polyphenols as well as  artemisinin.

How does Artemisia work?

Artemisia contains a substance which upon contact with iron ions (which are eg in certain cells), in two aggressive components decays, which quickly kills unwanted cells or germs (e.g. bacteria, plasmodia, etc.) in the vicinity.
